Hi, I’m June.

I champion timely yet timeless stories.

I’m a strategic, creative thinker with 8+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, publicity, and communications at award-winning organizations.

I have a proven track record of reaching multicultural audiences through multi-channel marketing campaigns, as well as earned media placements for bold storytelling and mission-driven brands making an impact. I currently serve as a publicist for NPR.

Previously, I led marketing and communications for the Emmy Award–winning PBS series American Masters. Past high-impact projects with PBS include the Peabody Award nominee Rising Against Asian Hate: One Day in March with Sandra Oh, and the Webby Award-nominated series The Bigger Picture with Vincent Brown.

Previously, I managed engagement and partnerships for Field of Vision, the acclaimed filmmaker-driven documentary unit that has produced three Academy Award® nominees for Best Documentary Short Subject.

I also hosted The Doc Exchange: A Real Stories Podcast, where I interviewed celebrated documentary filmmakers about the films that have changed their lives and influenced their work. The Doc Exchange is available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts.

Prior to Field of Vision, I worked as an assistant editor at O, The Oprah Magazine (now Oprah Daily). I’ve written about pop culture, politics, and wellness for O, The Nation, Colorlines, Supermajority, and Paste, and my writing on affirmative action was featured in the New York Times.
